On Tuesday, The Daily Wire<\/a> reported that President Donald Trump has established an advisory commission at the Commodities Futures Trading Commission filled with gambling, prediction market and crypto CEOs. Also, as of this week, the CFTC\u2019s flagship enforcement office in Chicago now has no enforcement attorneys<\/a>, with one of the ousted attorneys warning<\/a> that \u201cif I was a different person, I would launch a crypto scam right now, because there\u2019s no cops on the beat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Trump administration hollowed out the CFTC\u2019s flagship law enforcement office and then let in the CEOs of companies that openly encourage insider trading, scams and gambling. The corruption couldn\u2019t be more obvious. It\u2019s hard to see the CTFC succeeding at its mission to prevent a repeat of the 2008 financial crisis when it is influenced from the inside by a rogues\u2019 gallery of billionaire CEOs responsible for monetizing and gamifying virtually every aspect of everyday life.
